Guitar Hero World Tour is the highly anticipated “Guitar Hero 4″ which is to be released in the fall of 2008. Guitar Hero World Tour has been developed by Neversoft for the Xbox 360 and PS 3. The Wii version is coming from Vicarious Visions, and PlayStation 2 version is from Budcat. There have not beenany songs released , but it was confirmed that The Eagles, Sublime, Van Halen, and Linkin Parkwill be on the track list. It is said to be the largest track list of any Guitar Hero Game yet ,and all of the tunes available to take on will be master tracks.

Guitar Hero World Tour Features wireless drums, guitar, bass, and a microphone for singing (unlike Rock Band which has wires). The drums are said to be more responsive, and have three pressure sensitive pads, two raised cymbals, and a bass kick pedal.
There will also be a Battle of the Bands gameplay mode, in which eight players (two bands of four players each) will be able to play each other to see who’s best. In the Band modes, four players can play togther or online.

Also included will be Music Studio, a music-creation software suite with which amature songwriters can create digital music “from scratch.” Those composers will then be able to share their recordings online via GHTunes.
Nintendo's version is being advertised for pre-buying at $49.99. The XBOX 360 Band Kit is being advertised at $189.99 with a wireless battery pack being $14.99.
